These are some of my favorite contemporaries, since I know summertime and contemporary novels are a perfect match for a lot of people. I know I'm probably going to be picking up a few contemporary novels as well, but if you have any recommendations be sure to let me know in the comments!
(arguably my favorite contemporary of all time is To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and I'm so excited for the sequel!)
Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
(I actually started reading this one during the last Bout of Books! I haven't been reading very quickly lately so there's a good chance I still have yet to finish the novel, but let me know if you all would like a review!)

Brilliant list Violet! I can see some books on your list that look like they'd be brilliant summer reads. I totally agree with Since You've Been Gone. My TTT
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I think Since You've Been Gone is a great book and perfect for a summer read.
DeleteI adore your list! I've actually read A Midsummer's nightmare, and I thought it was really very cute! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I really enjoyed it as well! I thought it was a great book and a good pick for a summertime read.
DeleteOH Since You've Been Gone is a PERFECT summer read, right?! It's absolutely adorable plus summery plus the best book ever. hehe. I would like to read Magonia someday. I've heard it's super odd, but anyone who can mix Gaiman and John Green in a pitch makes me perk up my ears and want to try. ;-) Here's my TTT!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great book- I read it last year and really enjoyed it! I love Morgan Matson's other book Amy & Roger's Epic Detour as well!
DeleteHmmm...a new Paris book! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHere's mine!
Okay, I looked a little closer. Not about Paris, the city, but there's a character named Paris. Close enough!
DeleteI was definitely intrigued by the title as well and looked up more info on it. I'm curious to read the novel! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI'm planning to read A Court of Thorns and Roses this summer too (hopefully, depending on how many of my already bought books I manage to get through!).
