Top 10 of 2013 - Best Book Boyfriends of 2013

Looking back at these posts and 2013 in general, I've noticed a trend, and quite a few books popping up on my lists multiple days in a row. What can I say, I've got some favorites. Hello again, it is Best Book Boyfriends of 2013 day in the Top 10 of 2013. I'll go ahead and link the details and sign up page that I went to on Fiktshun, and let's go ahead and jump in!
Today's theme is Best Book Boyfriends. There are many a swoon-worthy fictional character I've met this year, but here are my top 10. I managed to put these in order somehow, so enjoy. P.S. THERE MAY BE SPOILERS AHEAD, so if you haven't read that book or through that book in a series, steer clear.

Dark Star (Dark Star, #1)no. 10 - Leon from Dark Star by Bethany Frenette
Leon's a smart guy. He also works with a superhero, and is super funny whenever he and Audrey have their sarcastic battles. Leon's also a really great guy- he's protective, sweet, and really loyal. I can't wait to see more of him and Audrey in Burning Bright!

The Madness Underneath (Shades of London, #2)no. 9 - Stephen from The Madness Underneath by Maureen Johnson
I'm so glad we saw more of Stephen in this book. He's a really great guy- serious, but a lot of amazing qualities to him. That ending, though? That was a punch in the stomach. I really want to read The Shadow Cabinet!

Apollyon (Covenant, #4)no. 8 - Aiden St. Delphi from Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Ok, so I was Team Seth in the Covenant series, but I always really did like Aiden as well. And although I haven't read Sentinel yet (I'm so sad to see this series end!) Aidan has definitely been an incredible guy for Alex. After everything they've been through, and how amazing Aiden's been through it all, he deserves a spot on this list.

The Collector (Dante Walker, #1)no. 7 - Dante Walker from The Collector, The Liberator by Victoria Scott
Dante is an awesome guy. In the beginning, he's funny, cocky, and self assured, but through these two books he has come so far. Dante's loyal, sweet, strong, and such an incredible character. He's a sweetheart who's willing to do anything for the one he loves. Plus, he's Dante Walker, so of course he's an amazing book boyfriend!

Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3)no. 6 - Jem Carstairs from Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
Jem is such a sweetheart. The entire series I wanted him to find happiness. He puts everyone first, and has made some huge sacrifices in his already difficult life. I love Jem because he's kind, thoughtful, devoted, and an amazing violin player. I cried for Jem a lot in this book, but I was so happy for him in the end.

Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3)no. 5 - Will Herondale from Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
Yes, Will's here, too. Will is an avid reader, so of course I love him as well. He's also had a really difficult life. In this book, I really began to appreciate Will's character even more. That epilogue saw a lot of tears.

The Elite (The Selection, #2)no. 4 - Maxon from The Elite by Kiera Cass
Maxon deserves a spot because he was incredible in this book. Seriously, America was so annoying in this sequel that I'm hesitant about The One because she's been such a brat! But Maxon was a good guy; he always is.

The Coldest Girl in Coldtownno. 3 - Gavriel from The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black
Gavriel. My beloved mad poet. He's such a wonderful character. Gavriel's thoughtful, mysterious, super awesome, and I loved every scene with him in it. I mean, Gavriel's just an incredible character, so of course he's an awesome book boyfriend.

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)no. 2 - Warner from Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
Oh, the feels in this book. I've loved Warner's character for awhile, and I'm so glad we read about him in Destroy Me. Unravel Me? The best one so far! I loved how much Warner was in this book. He's such a sensitive, loving, protective guy. He's definitely a wonderful book boyfriend.

Splintered (Splintered, #1)no. 1 - Morpheus from Splintered by A.G. Howard
Mysterious. Magical. Witty. Morpheus is awesome. I loved him in Splintered, loved him in The Moth in the Mirror, and I CAN'T WAIT FOR UNHINGED.

So there are my beloved book boyfriends from this year. Who were your fictional crushes?

From a paper world,
V
